General registration for the Street Fair begins February 1, 2012. If you had a booth last year and your contact info is unchanged, you will hear from us in late January. Others who’d like to be added to this list, please contact Mark at mail@columbiaearthday.org

Please note that most info on the site is from Earth Day 2011. We will be revising as soon as new info is ready to post.

Note that our scheduled date is Sunday, April 22, and our rain date is Sunday, April 29.

We have added quite a bit of new content to the site. See links at left to access:

The Eco Avenue Schoolhouse Workshop Schedule. Great lineup of short workshops. Plan to attend the ones that interest you.
You can now download Columbia Earth Day Flyers for posting and 1/4 sheet Handouts to distribute to help get the word out about Earth Day.
We’ve also posted a rundown of Kids’ Park Activities. There are all sorts of fun and educational activities for youngsters at Earth Day.

Our regular registration has closed, but you may still file a late registration for a booth before Thurs, April 14. There will be a $10 per booth late fee. See the BOOTH INFO page to download a registration form.

We have a little under 2 weeks before the Booth Registration deadline: 3/31/11. So get your registration in now!

Hello friends,
Earth day booth registration information is now posted to our BOOTH INFO page. Please read the notes below before you sign up. Thanks for your interest; we look forward to your participation!

*Registration deadline: 3/31/11
*Late Registration deadline: 4/14/11 with late fee ($10 per booth surcharge)

NOTE CHANGES: Please note that there are a few changes this year necessitated by City of Columbia requirements. These are not of our doing, but we need to operate w/in their rules. Please read through what we’ve sent carefully. If any of this is unclear, please let us know.

FOOD COURT: Please note that, as last year, we have a separate Food Court area for food vendors, and that as last year, this is the only place where food or drink can be sold. There is a separate fee schedule for the food vendors, but we have incorporated it all onto one registration form this year.

BE TIMELY PLEASE: We are again charging a $10 per booth surcharge for those who sign up late—after March 31—and have an absolute deadline to sign up—by Thursday, April 14—so please sign up sooner, rather than later.

PLEASE WAIT UNTIL MONDAY, HOWEVER: We will be happy to take your registrations starting at 10 a.m. Monday 2/7/11. Please do not try to jump the line by bringing yours in over the weekend.

IN PERSON OR BY POSTAL MAIL PLEASE: Also please note that applications cannot be taken by e-mail. Bring them in or mail them in, please.

CASH OR CHECK, NOT PLASTIC: Note, too, that we can take payment in cash or by check, but not with credit or debit cards.

ECO AVENUE: Also note that if your organization is an Eco Avenue participant that has already signed up, as long as your paperwork and fees are in, you do not need to take any further action.

Please submit an application AND a digital sample (DVD, CD, mp3, etc.) of your work. Place application and media in an envelope and submit to EDEC (Earth Day Entertainment Committee) at Peace Nook (804-C E. Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201) or KOPN (915 E Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201).
